The perfect life.

The perfect marriage.

The jilted lover.

Their worlds collide.

Fate intervenes twelve years later and their paths intersect once again. All three will question whether the heart is truly capable of dividing and being divided; each will decide whether it matters who you loved first or who you love last.

Together they will learn that in the end, there can always only be one.
"My perfect family. My perfect life."

His wounded light is told in 3 POVS, Alex, Jesse, and Isabel’s. It was told in three parts, the pain, the joy, and the love.

We all met Isa in The Light In The Wound and she was in bed with one man, Jesse, while she planned to marry another man, Alex, the next day. And she did, she married Alex and was happily married. It’s their 12th wedding anniversary in Paris and it’s been 12 years since she last saw Jesse, and everything changes. Everything.

Jesse is Isabel’s ex, and he is still deeply in love with her and all he wants is his chance to prove that they are meant to be. But are they really meant to be or is Alex her one true love?

Alex’s love for Isa is just so deep and beautiful and will surely make you cry.

The angst, drama, and the twists and turns of events are still present. The events will make you hold back and realize that everything you ever believed in will change.  The story is very emotional you will really feel the agony of the characters. It will make you realize that the Jesse and the Alex of your lives will always have a special place in your heart, the only thing that matters is, you have to be happy for the person you love even if it means letting him go.

The book was written honestly, and sincerely because you will see how it mirrors reality in every aspect of life. His Wounded Light presents that not everything in love is perfect. There will be gray parts that will test how strong you are as a couple, and as a person. But it the end, it proves that love will never ever ever fail, no matter how many times you fall.
Christine Brae is a full time career woman who thought she could write a book about her life and then run away as far as possible from it. She never imagined that her words would touch the hearts of so many women with the same story to tell. She is currently working on her third book which she hopes to release in June,2014.

When not listening to the voices in her head or spending late nights at the office, Christine can be seen shopping for shoes and purses, running a half marathon or spending time with her husband and three children in Chicago.
