What would you do if the only thing that you can hear is the beat of your heart?
Sydney Blake is an aspiring musician. She has a great life: steady job, awesome best friend, wonderful boyfriend, and the music from her opposite balcony became the soundtrack of her life. On her twenty-second birthday, she finds herself soaked on the sidewalk with her luggage when she discovers her boy friend, Hunter, is cheating on her with her best friend, Tori. Soon, she becomes captivated by her mysterious and attractive neighbor, Ridge Lawson. She cannot seem to take her eyes off him nor stop listening to his music. And there is something about Sydney that Ridge cannot ignore, either.
“I failed miserably at trying not to fall in love with you.”
Ridge was the kind of guy every female will fall in love with; he is sweet, gorgeous, very talented, and has a golden heart. Everything about him will either make you swoon or melt. But the problem is he loves Maggie, his girlfriend for five years.
There are moments that will make your heart ache until you realize that tears are streaming down your face. There are events that will make you laugh so hard that you had to stop reading until you gain your sanity. Maybe Someday is not your average romance book that will just make you swoon, thus, will draw to a world of passionate tale of betrayal, friendship, love and music. It is the type of book that you could not put down, it will make you read from pages to pages until you reach the ending, and when you get there, you just did not want it to end.
There is no bad guy, nor good guy, no black, white or even grey zones; just people, choices and feelings. Two people in love caught in the middle of a wrong timing, painful and heart-wrenching choices, and most of all, the all-powerful and consuming feelings.
“My
heart made its choice, and it chose you.”
